MatchRX Growth Inspires Recent Move To Royal Oak

ROYAL OAK -- MatchRX, a Web-based marketplace for independent pharmacies, announced the successful move from its Troy office; consisting of support staff, directors, managers, designers and technicians.

For MRX, the online marketplace exclusively serving independent pharmacist, the new office space means improved member service and room for growth.

"Our Troy office doubled in business and size within one year, and our new location accommodates our rapid expansion with upgraded amenities, conferencing, enhanced customer service capabilities and an exhilarating workplace environment for our staff," said John Kello, CEO of MRX.

The business now occupies 5,000 square feet on the first floor of the former Oakland Tribune Newspaper headquarters located in downtown Royal Oak as compared to its previous 1,300 square foot Troy location.

"As we started to outgrow our old office, it was apparent that we needed a new floor plan that would provide greater efficiency in how we serve our marketplace," said Kello. "Our Royal Oak location will enhance operational efficiencies and help us continue to keep up the pace with the steady growth of our membership."

"We are thrilled to have MatchRX headquartered in the Medical Main Street Region," said Irene Spanos, Oakland County Business Development  Representative. "These are the kind of cutting-edge, innovative companies that put Michigan's Medical Main Street on the global map."

All of MRX's phone numbers, e-mails and fax numbers will remain the same.

The internet company connects neighborhood pharmacists across the US, enabling members to buy and sell overstocked prescription drugs at 10 to 90 percent off from one another. Since 2010, the award-winning MRX has provided effective solutions to minimize waste and improve bottom lines. The unique Web-based marketplace enables MRX to provide a simple, secure way for members to better manage inventory on a daily basis.
