Unruly Passenger Detained After Detroit-bound Flight
ROMULUS (WWJ/AP) - Delta Airlines says federal officials have detained a man who became disruptive on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.
Officials said police were called to meet Delta flight 235, scheduled to land at Detroit Metropolitan Airport at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
WWJ Newsradio 950 received tips that there was an apparently drunk, unruly passenger on board, who was restrained. The TSA was reportedly not treating it as a security issue.
The airline said in a statement Tuesday that the man had to be restrained and was detained by officials waiting when the flight landed about 3:51 p.m..
No injuries were reported.
