DETROIT (WWJ) – Native Detroiter Tony Vitale released his first music video “That’s Detroit” – a big band-style song about the city in which he was born and loves.

Vitale’s video is meant to inspire metro Detroit and reflect the resilient spirit of people who make Detroit the Motor City. “That’s Detroit” can be viewed on YouTube and downloaded on iTunes.

Vitale said, “It’s time for the Motor City to have its own ‘New York, New York’ style anthem that speaks to the true never-say-die character of the people of Detroit.”

A professional dancer and singer, Vitale has performed on Broadway, on TV shows like Clueless and The Young and the Restless, and toured as a dancer with Reba McEntire’s band for years.
