Where To Get Your Flu Shot This Fall

It's that time again. The CDC recommends everyone ages 6 months and older get a yearly flu vaccination. Find a location below.

WAYNE COUNTY

The Wayne County Department of Public Health is offering flu shots for residents at its clinics in Wayne, Taylor and the Redford area.  Vaccines will be given to adults and children, six months of age and older, on walk-in days and by appointment. The cost of the flu vaccine is $15 for adults and $10 for qualifying children. Payment is by cash only. Medicaid will also be accepted.  Call (734) 727-7000 or get MORE DETAILS HERE.

OAKLAND COUNTY

Oakland County Health Division will offer $11 flu shots at following outreach clinics on Friday, October 21 and November 4 and also at Health Division offices in Pontiac and Southfield from Noon-8 p.m. Mondays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  Tuesday through Friday. MORE DETAILS.

MACOMB  COUNTY

All ages are welcome to receive flu vaccines at upcoming Senior Outreach Day hosted by Macomb County Board of Commissioners and the Macomb County Seniors Citizen Services Department.  Health screenings and medication disposal will also be offered - October 25 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Roseville Recreation & Senior Center, 18185 Sycamore, Roseville. The Macomb County Health Department flu vaccine clinics are underway for the 2011 season, with three Service Centers: Mount Clemens, St. Clair Shores and Warren, open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each center has one evening with extended hours. DETAILS HERE.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY

The St. Clair County Health Department will be providing flu shots on a walk-in  basis beginning September 19 on Mondays (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) and Wednesdays (8 a.m.-4 p.m.) at  the main office. Other days are by appointment only. Call (810)987-5729 for more information.

WASHTENAW COUNTY

Washtenaw County will be offering flu shots at the Washtenaw County Public Health Center on Thursday, November 3, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Cost is $20, CASH ONLY. Must be 6 months and older to receive shot. Medicaid and Medicare part B are accepted, but no private insurance.  Washtenaw County Public Health is also offering flu shots by appointment. LIVINGSTON COUNTY

Walk-in Immunization Clinics are held on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended hours until 7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.  Medicare may cover all or part of the cost. MORE DETAILS HERE
