Lions Sign CB Carey, Release TE Finley
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have signed cornerback Don Carey and released tight end Joe Jon Finley.
The team also says it has signed tight end Nathan Overbay to the practice squad and released running back Matt Clapp from the practice squad.
The moves were announced Tuesday.
The Jacksonville Jaguars waived Carey last month.
The Lions play at Denver on Sunday.
