Detroit Police Look For Man Who Fondled Girl

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have released a composite sketch of a man who fondled a 10-year-old girl while she was walking to school with a 6-year-old girl.

The incident occurred Tuesday morning around 8:30 as the girls were walking along VanDyke. Police say the suspect grabbed the victim from behind and began to inappropriately touch her. The victim yelled, telling the younger girl to run, then the suspect then fled on foot. The victim ran and caught up to the other girl, both going to the local school to report the incident.

The sketch is of a black male, 20-30, 5'-9", skinny build, dark-colored eyes, medium light complexion, sideburns (down to lower ear), light mustache. The suspect was wearing a dark blue skull cap, a black sweatshirt with a hood, black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
