Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries Sustained In Crash

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Police say a Pontiac man has died from injuries he sustained when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Investigators say 24-year-old Christopher Lamar Carter was driving his motorcycle near Cass Avenue and Johnson Street in Pontiac just before 5 p.m. last Saturday when he lost control of his 2006 Suzuki GSX motorcycle and hit a curb, a traffic sign and a fence.

Carter, who had been hospitalized since the crash, was pronounced dead shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday.

The crash remains under investigation.
