Union Members: MGM Grand, Workers Reach Tentative Deal

DETROIT (WWJ) - There's word that unionized casino workers at MGM Grand Detroit have a tentative deal with management.

Two members of UAW Local 7777 have posted notices online that a deal has been reached. The Detroit Free Press says the casino upped worker signing bonuses and offered a small raise in the final year of the four-year pact.

MGM Grand workers rejected a previous deal just days after workers at MotorCity and Greektown casinos approved similar contracts.
