DPD Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Bowling Fundraiser

DETROIT (WWJ) - Members of the Detroit Police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Departments are joining forces to raise raise awareness about breast cancer.

The law enforcement agencies will be hosting a "Real Men Wear Pink" bowling fundraiser on Saturday at Garden Bowl Lanes.

Funds raised will given to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute to help in the fight against breast cancer.

The public is encouraged to attend the fundraiser, which will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. The $20 entry fee includes three bowling games and shoes.

In case bowling is not your thing, donations will also be accepted on-site during the fundraiser.
