GVSU To Host Event On Successful Investing in West Michigan: "Invest Locally, Invest Profitably" is the title of an event to be held Thursday, Dec. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grand Valley State University's Eberhard Center, 301 W. Fulton St., Grand Rapids. The admission fee is $50. More at www.gvsu.edu/investMI. Local investors, fund managers and entrepreneurs will share their investment knowledge with potential investors. Attendees will learn the leading investment strategies used by local private equity investors, fund managers and entrepreneurs, and how to increase returns by investing in private companies in West Michigan. Michigan-Israel Business Bridge Sets Event: The Michigan Israel Business Bridge (MIBB) will be hosting "Doing Business with Israel: Why and How" featuring Economic Consul Yariv Becher of the Israel Economic Mission to the Midwest. The event will take place Tuesday, Dec. 6 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Rapids University Club (111 Lyon NW Suite 1025, Fifth Third Center, Grand Rapids). Becher will speak about the innovative and entrepreneurial business taking place in Israel and sharing ways to become a part of these exciting opportunities.
