DETROIT (AP) – A Detroit-area mother convicted of murder for setting a mobile-home fire that killed two of her children is returning to court for a mandatory sentence of life in prison.

Authorities say she intentionally set a fire that trapped and killed her 4-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter in a mobile home in Huron Township in 2009. The sentencing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in Wayne County Circuit Court.
