Seneca Partners Seeks VP

DETROIT -- The investment firm Seneca Partners is seeking a vice president with experience leading and executing transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and equity and mezzanine investments.

While the individual will primarily support the firm's investment banking practice, he or she will also have an opportunity to participate in Seneca's private investment activities. The preferred candidate will be based in the firm's Michigan offices.

The candidate will assist Seneca Partners in leading and executing transactions in support of Seneca's investment banking practice; supporting deal sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence associated with the firm's private investment activities; marketing the firm's advisory services and principal investment strategies, products and capabilities; and supporting the firm's portfolio companies as requested through Board positions, advisory roles and other oversight activities.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills to serve the needs of middle-market executives, business owners and entrepreneurs; demonstrated deal structuring, analytical and research skills; the position requires exceptional Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; an five or more years of related investment banking, private equity or leveraged finance experience. An undergraduate degree is required, and MBA preferred.
