Study Says Michiganders Becoming Pessimistic About Future
EAST LANSING (WWJ) - A new Michigan State University survey has found that state residents are becoming more pessimistic about the future.
The report says about 38 percent of Michiganders say they expect to be better off a year from now while 36 percent believe they'll be doing worse and 26 percent expected to be about the same.
Those ratings show less confidence about the short-term future than similar surveys conducted by the university earlier this year.
