Pontiac Man Clings To Life After Being Shot With AK-47

PONTIAC (WWJ) - A 26-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot 6 times in the legs with an AK-47.

The shooting happened early New Year's day in Pontiac on Cottage Street.

The Oakland County Sherriff's Office reports the victim is in critical condition at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac.

Authorities are investigating the shooting as the search for the suspect continues.
