DETROIT (WWJ)–  “Quickee Loob”– a comedy that gives a look behind the scenes of an oil-change shop — is helping a local woman get traction in the world of filmmaking.

Terri Lee, the film’s producer, tells WWJ how she got her start:

“I wrote a script for a feature film back in 2003 – I entered it into a contest and out of 632 entries mine placed in the top 8% – so after that experience I decided I wanted to produce the film, but so many people told me the way to get your foot in the door is to do a short,” said Lee.
