Man Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash In Monroe County
BEDFORD TWP. (WWJ/AP) - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal hit and run accident that took the life of a Temperance man.
Sheriff's officials say the victim, 21-year-old Brian Tucker, was lying in the roadway in Bedford Township when he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday night.
Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the vehicle that hit him was a light-colored, midsize car.
Police have not commented as to why Tucker was in the roadway, but say an investigation is ongoing.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call 243-7070 or 240-7768.
