DETROIT (WWJ) – Graduating high school seniors are being encouraged to apply for a scholarship from the Coleman A. Young Foundation Scholars Program.

To be eligible, students must be a Detroit resident, attend school in the city, have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

The Coleman A. Young Foundation has been awarding scholarships to Detroit students for more than 30 years.
