Charlie Langton: How Is Santorum Winning Michigan? Get The Story Behind The Polls!

Public Policy Polling author Tom Jensen joined the Charlie Langton show to talk about what is going on with Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republican field. The P.P.P's recently published poll has Santorum leading Romney by double digits.  How is this possible? Shouldn't Romney win Michigan by a decent margin -- considering his father used to be the governor? Why is ultra-socially conservative Santorum doing so well in Michigan? Jenson answered these questions and more.

Other tidbits:

- A big majority of people don't consider Romney to be a Michigander.
- Hoekstra's Asian-themed ad did affect him with voters. In a general election, people said they were less likely to vote for Hoekstra because of the ad.
- How do voters feel about Newt Gingrich? Not so swell!
- Does Ron Paul have any chance in Michigan? No!
- The U.P. loves Santorum where he is currently up by 50!
- Obama is beating everybody!
