SUV Smashes Into West Bloomfield Salon
West Bloomfield Twp (WWJ)- A sport utility vehicle crashed into a beauty salon in West Bloomfield Township Wednesday morning, but no injuries were reported.
West Bloomfield Fire Chief Jay Wiseman said the driver of the SUV was involved in an accident at Green Lake and Commerce roads around 9:50 a.m. and veered into the building.
The SUV driver wasn't hurt. Although the salon had people inside, no one was injured.
Investigators say the driver of the SUV was ticketed.
The building had structural damage and members of the West Bloomfield Fire Department's Technical Rescue Team were called to the scene to stabilize the structure and prevent further collapse of the building.
