Lighthouse Molding Adds Chief Technology Officer: Sterling Heights-based Lighthouse Molding has hired Tyrone Secord as its new chief technology officer. The CTO oversees the design needs of Lighthouse customers. Secord brings over 30 years of design experience to the portfolio of services that Lighthouse Molding provides to  customers. Lighthouse Molding provides overmolding for electronic PCBA (printed circuit board assemblies) encapsulation. It was established in 2005 as an organization to supply environmentally friendly solutions for low pressure overmolding, to educate customers about low pressure overmolding, and promote its benefits in electronic applications.  Low pressure overmolding is the act of encapsulating electronic assemblies in a single shot eliminating the need for housings and mechanical fasteners. Lighthouse provides customers with material, equipment, and molds to economically encapsulate electronic assembly.
