DETROIT (WWJ) – Individual game tickets for the Detroit Tigers are on sale for fans who picked up wristbands on Friday and for fans without wristbands after that.

Braving the gusty wind and snow flurries hundreds waited outside Comerica Park to score individual tickets to Detroit Tiger games for the new baseball season.

Marilyn, of Livonia, wants opening day tickets for her son and says she’s excited for the Tigers season to begin.

“Just because of the new players and the excitement and how we ended last season and everything. Good outcome, so the future will be good for us,” said Marilyn.

Marilyn doesn’t mind the wristband system for getting tickets, saying it alleviates pushing by some to get to the front of the line.
