Some Recalled Products Originally Sold By Meijer Improperly Resold

GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning shoppers that some recalled child and baby products originally offered at Meijer stores were improperly resold at other retailers.

CPSC officials say the products were improperly disposed of by offering them for sale at discount retailers, dollar stores, liquidation firms, flea markets and thrift stores nationwide. The products include children's lamps, toys, a sling used to hold a baby and vacuums.

CPSC officials say an error was to blame for the items being resold. Meijer has not yet released a comment.

Consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and contact companies involved in the recalls.
