Ferris State Advances To Frozen Four

BIG RAPIDS (WWJ) - The Ferris State Bulldogs make their first NCAA Frozen Four appearance after beating Cornell 2-1 winning the Midwest Regional Final.

Ferris (25-11-5) will take on No. 3 Union (26-7-7) on April 5 - the puck drops at 4:30pm for the national semifinal game at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Ferris beat Cornell 2-1 to advance. Cornell had beaten Michigan in the first round 3-2 in overtime to advance before being beaten by the Bulldogs.

If Ferris wins - they will take on the winner of the Boston College and Minnesota match-up that follows the Ferris and Union game.

Ferris State says that ticket purchases are on a first come, first serve basis.

FSU has an allotment of 600 tickets- you can call (231) 591-2888 to find out if tickets are still available.

All-session tickets, which allow for admittance to both semifinal games and Saturday's (April 7) national championship game, are $195 each.  No single-session tickets are available from FSU.
