BUCKLEY (WWJ/AP) – Authorities say a pregnant 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Michigan’s northern Lower Peninsula with her 2-year-old daughter in the vehicle.

The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports Wexford County sheriff’s deputies arrested the woman from Buckley Wednesday night after she crashed her vehicle into some trees while being pursued by law enforcement.

The woman was being held at the Wexford County jail. Authorities say the arrest marks the third time she’s faced a drunken driving case.

She has also been charged with driving on a suspended license.

The woman’s name has not been released.
