Predators 4, Red Wings 1

DETROIT (WWJ) - Juri Hudler put in the only goal during the Red Wings 4-1 loss to the Nashville Predators Friday night.

Wings goalie Jimmy Howard had 23 saves on the night but let in three goals and the Wings never had enough offensively to make up for the goals that got past Howard.

Hudler scored in the final minutes of the game and the Wings pulled Howard with over a minute remaining in the third period only to have the Predators put in an empty net goal and fade any hope of a Wings' rally.

Alexander Radulov, Francis Bouillon, Gabriel Bourque,  and Shea Weber all scored for the Predators.

The Red Wings play again on Sunday against the Panthers - puck drops at 4 p.m.
