Bright House Networks Launches Disney Junior

NOVI -- Bright House Networks announced that is has launched Disney Junior, a 24 hour channel targeted to children ages 2 to 7, their parents and caregivers.

Disney Junior is available locally on channel 154 and on channel 354 in HD.   Disney Junior showcases classic and new Disney characters and stories and embraces the same magical storytelling with heart that generations of fans have come to know and love from Disney Parks and Disney movies.

The channel features the new original series "Doc McStuffins," as well as favorites such as "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "Jake and the Never Land Pirates." Plus, "The Magical World of Disney Junior" Movie Slate debuts with "Toy Story 2," "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Princess and the Frog."  A bedtime block winds down the day with "Guess How Much I Love You," "Gaspard & Lisa" and short form series "Quiet Is."    Said Robert McCann, president of Bright House Networks Detroit: "Disney Junior provides the magic of storytelling for children and offers smart and funny programming which many know to be the hallmarks of a great Disney experience."

Bright House Networks is the sixth largest owner and operator of cable systems in the United States. In Michigan, Bright House serves Farmington, Farmington Hills, Livonia, Northville, Northville Township, Novi and Redford Township.
