Spring into this season with a style party! StyleLine Magazine and Art Van Furniture have teamed up to host the second annual Spring Trends Showcase Party. The showcase will be held at Art Van Furniture in Shelby Township on Thursday, April 19 from 6 to 9pm.

The party will celebrate the launch of Art Van's 100-page spring catalog and also will feature the season's latest fashions in clothing and home furnishings. Guests can also meet and greet with StyleLine editors and local designers.

The list of local designers that will be in attendance includes: Emily Thornhill of Homeslice; Lyudviga Shneyder of Lyudviga Couture; Paulina Braiz Harb of Paulina BH; Fotoula Lambros of Fotoula Lambros Design; Luke Song of Mr. Song Millinery; and Diana and Julie Verdugo of Gemela Design.

A varied selection of food will be provided by Ollie's Lebanese Cuisine, Peteet's Famous Cheesecakes, Ross Fine Candies, and drinks which includes Korbel champagne. All guests will receive a free tote bag with the spring catalog and cosmetic samples from Neiman Marcus.

To add to the excitement, there will also be several prizes that include décor items, salon and restaurant gift cards to be given out during the spring party. However, the biggest prize will be a trip to the 2012 summer London Olympics for one lucky individual.

Although the StyleLine & Art Van Spring Party promises plenty of fashion and fun prizes, there's also an important cause  to support as well.

Every guest is encouraged to bring a donation of art supplies (crayons, colored pencils, paper, coloring books, stickers, stencils and other items) to benefit HAVEN. HAVEN is an organization whose mission is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault across Oakland County and the surrounding communities through treatment and prevention services.

Attendance to The StyleLine & Art Van Spring Party is free but it is required to RSVP at artvan.com or call 888-619-2199.
