DTE Energy Plans Thumb Open House For Wind Suppliers

BAD AXE -- DTE Energy will host an open house for potential suppliers to learn about business opportunities with the company's expanding wind portfolio.

The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, at the Franklin Inn, 1070 E. Huron Ave., in Bad Axe.

Attendees will be able to network with the leading wind construction contractors, learn about the wind industry's supply needs, connect with other businesses and organizations that share an interest in renewable energy, as well as build relationships and partnerships.

The event is free and open to all Michigan-based companies.

DTE Energy has started work to build three wind parks in Huron and Sanilac counties, and recently announced its intentions to build another wind park in Huron County pending Michigan Public Service Commission approval.
