Local Brighthouse Customers Lose Service

NOVI (WWJ) - Thousands of Brighthouse customers were without Internet, phone and cable service in Novi, Livonia and Farmington Hills Monday morning.

The outage began just after 9 a.m.

The company said cable TV service has been restored but technicians are still working on phone and Internet service in the area.  There was no immediate word from Brighthouse on what caused the problem.

Customers talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 said all circuits have been busy for people trying to reach Brighthouse customer service.
