For All You Beliebers: Justin Bieber Tour To Visit Detroit

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Did anyone lose faith that the hottest welterweight pop star in North America would visit Detroit? Then you must not be a true Belieber.

Musical sensation Justin Bieber just announced his 2012 "Believe" tour will stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills Nov. 21. Tickets go on sale starting May 23 in anticipation of Bieber's latest album "Believe," which will be released June 19.

Carly Rae Jepsen will be his special guest for the tour that begins September 29th in Glendale, Ariz., at the Jobing.com Arena and blaze through more than 45 cities before wrapping up in Miami, Fla., Jan. 26, 2013.

Justin Bieber's Fan Club presale will begin at noon Wednesday, May 23. Log into BieberFever.com to get first access to tickets. Fan club members will receive a pre-sale access code which allows the purchase of up to four tickets for up to four shows on the tour.

American Express will offer a pre-sale to U.S.residents May 24 through May 31 and Canadian residents May 24 through May 30. General public ticket sales will follow on June 1st for Canadian residents and June 2 for U.S. residents.

A number of VIP packages will also be offered on the upcoming tour.  In addition to top-notch seats, VIP packages can include meet and greets and photo opportunities with Justin Bieber, autographed memorabilia, exclusive VIP merchandise and more.  For more information on VIP packages, visit www.aeglive.com.

Additionally, $1 from each ticket will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a charity that works to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world.  The goal is to build 15 schools around the world for needy children.

The first single on "Believe" -- the edgy "Boyfriend," hit No.1 at iTunes the second it was released, and set a world-record for debuting at that spot on iTunes in 32 countries.  The "Boyfriend" video has shattered all YouTube records since its MTV premiere May 3, generating 8 million views in its first 24 hours.
