STC-SM Sets Chapter Recognition and Appreciation Dinner Meeting: The Society for Technical Communication Southeast Michigan will hold its annual chapter recognition and appreciation dinner meeting Tuesday, June 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 14600 Sheldon Road in Plymouth. The cost is $20 for STC volunteers and board members, $30 for STC members and $40 for others. The event will recognize chapter member Ann Blakeslee, a 2012 recipient of the Society's Ken Rainey Award for Excellence in Research, and to welcome her as a speaker at this program.
