Woman Poked By Hypodermic Needle While Shopping, Trying On Clothes
WATERFORD TWP., Mich. (WWJ) - A Waterford Township woman, who was trying on a pair of pants, got a lot more than she bargained for. She was poked by a hypodermic needle.
It happened while the woman was shopping at Walmart on S. Adams Road. The customer told Oakland County authorities her leg had a numb, tingling feeling after she was stuck by the needle. The needle was tested at a Michigan State Police crime lab, where traces of heroin were found on it, but no blood or DNA. That was good news for the woman, who had been concerned about possible HIV transmission.
In the meantime, the investigation continues.
