
DETROIT (WWJ) – Many Detroiters remember the “Shrek” comment aimed at then-City Council President Ken Cockrel by Monica Conyers, and the grilling Conyers later got from a middle school student about her behavior.
That young girl, Keiara Bell, is now celebrating a milestone.

Bell was an 8th grader back then. Fast-forward four years and we find her graduating from Cass Tech High School — at the top of her class. In the fall, she will attend Michigan State University.
