Suspect Sketch Released In Rape Of 13-Year-Old Girl

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for the public's help to identify a man responsible for the alleged sex assault of a 13-year-old girl.

Police said the teen was walking to school Wednesday morning along the I-96 service drive at Pacific, when the suspect approached from behind and forced her into an alley.

The girl said he sexually assaulted her and then took off in a light blue, older model Ford Taurus.

The suspect is described as a black male, around the age of 25, 5'-11" tall, with  a medium build, light complexion, trimmed mustache and goatee. He was wearing a Detroit Tigers baseball cap and a dark blue Tigers jacket. He had silver stud earring in his left ear and was wearing gold Cartier eye glasses.
