Appia Communications Delivers Phone System Disaster Recovery

TRAVERSE CITY -- Appia Communications, a provider of managed communications and network services, today announced a whole new way for customers to deploy IP-PBXs. They can now colocate their primary or back-up PBXs in the Appia data center when they purchase Appia's SIP trunking services.

"Customers usually locate their PBXs at their place of business. So when they lose connectivity to the office, they also lose phone services," said Victor von Schlegell, president of Appia Communications. "With this new service, customers can colocate their systems in a carrier-grade facility, with all the redundancy you would expect. This is a perfect, extremely cost-effective solution for customers who want their communications to be safe and secure."

The monthly price of $59 includes one rack unit of space, power, and Internet access for SIP services.
