Suter Taking Time Weighing All Options

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) - Several NHL teams, possibly including the Detroit Red Wings, waiting on the decision of Ryan Suter as to where he will play in the upcoming season and beyond.

SB Nation reports that the Wings have offered Suter a 12-year, $90 million contract that will which will put Suter at 39 at the end of the contract.

The 27-year-old Suter has been with the Nashville Predators since the 2005/06 season, who are also looking to retain him.

Suter is the son of Bob Suter, who was a  member of the famed 1980,  "Miracle on Ice",  U.S. Olympic hockey team that beat the Soviet Union to win the gold medal.
