Detroit Rapper Allegedly Shows Off Fighting Dogs, Roosters In Video

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Amid the sounds of constant yelping, Detroit rapper Calicoe takes a tour of his reported Detroit pad, leading visitors through a yard full of animal cages with roosters and pit bulls inside.

The animals are described as "grand champions," presumably in the fighting ring, several times in the video that was shared on several video websites.

The disreputable-looking pad is described in the video as country in Detroit. "We ain't country, but this is country sh**," Calicoe says in the video.

"Anybody want fightin' dogs? I hope we don't get indicted," he also says, adding a reference to Michael Vick while walking among cages of barking dogs and dogs on chains scratching at the dirt.

The video was flagged by fans of the website Reddit. See it HERE, but note that it's not suitable for young viewers and has graphic language.

The Michigan Humane Society said they've been made aware of the video and their cruelty investigators are  checking it out. The Detroit Police Department is also investigating.

The rapper denied the dog fighting allegation in a Twitter post, writing "If u find a video of me "FIGHTING DOGS" PLEEEEZE LET ME KNO."

The video has more than 400 comments, including sentiments like "I hope those poor dogs rip their jugulars out while the roosters peck out their eyes.. Scum of the Earth..."

Reached for comment, Young Calicoe's manager said he would respond after talking to his client, but was later unreachable. Stay tuned for updates.
