Hot Wheels Roll Out Of Shelby Twp In Dead Of Night

SHELBY TWP. (WWJ) - Some residents in Shelby Township woke-up to a brazen act of thievery right in their own driveway.

At least three households who park their vehicles outside have had the tires and rims stolen out from under them.

Adding insult to the thieving injury, one Cadillac Escalade was even left sitting on blocks from their own yard.

The thefts have taken place in the Lakeshore Estates subdivision near 21 Mile and Schoenherr roads.

One of the vehicles, a Buick Enclave, had wheel rims stolen that are valued at $3400.
