Thief Masquerading As "Jason" Ripping People Off In Pontiac

PONTIAC, Mich. (WWJ) - Police said someone in a "Jason" mask is ripping people off.

Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two young males who have committed a couple of robberies recently. One of them carries a shotgun and wears a mask similar to "Jason" of Friday the 13th fame, while the other had a white bandana covering his face.

Late Friday night a pizza delivery person was robbed of money and some food on North Roselawn Street in Pontiac. Earlier in the week, a similar robbery was committed where the hold-up man was wearing a Jason mask.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak UP. A reward of $1,000 is being offered.
