Watch LIVE: Michigan Senate Candidates Face Off

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) The race to run against Debbie Stabenow for her Michigan Senate seat is hot and only getting hotter leading up to the August 7 primary.

The three Republican candidates running for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat will hold their one and only televised debate at 2 p.m. Thursday, with a special election edition of "Off the Record with Tim Skubick."

Click HERE to watch the debate live at 2 p.m.

Republicans Pete Hoekstra, Clark Durant and Randall Hekman are locked in a no-holds-barred battle over who should try to topple Stabenow, with accusations flying about Durant's paycheck, an allegedly racist Hoekstra ad and Hekman's readiness for office. Catch up on the race HERE.

Hoekstra, Durant and Hekman agreed to a single moderator, no-rules format in this program anchored by Skubick, WWJ Newsradio's political correspondent.
