Suspect Released In Bicycle 'Road Rage' Shooting

TAYLOR (WWJ) - Possible charges are still pending against a man who allegedly shot a bicyclist to death Wednesday night.

Taylor police said the incident happened at North Line at Telegraph Road when the bicyclist, now being identified as Henry Enoch, reportedly disregarded a "Do Not Cross" signal, causing the motorist to hit him.

Witnesses told police the motorist then shot Enoch after Enoch began punching him repeatedly through the car window.

The alleged shooter stayed at the scene until police arrived and he was arrested.

He was released Thursday afternoon  as police continue to investigate.  His name has not been disclosed.
