ROYAL OAK (CBS Detroit) – Red Wings fans lined up around the block in Royal Oak on Wednesday for a chance to meet Henrik Zetterberg — and try his treats.

Zetterberg is partnering with Just Baked, a Livonia-based specialty cupcake shop and bakery, to bring the pastries to the United States for the first time ever. The Snowballs will be produced and sold in Michigan.
Wednesday, at the Just Baked on Woodward Avenue , Zetterberg was working behind the counter signing autographs the celebrate the dessert’s launch.

This woman, who didn’t give her name, was excited to stand in like to meet her favorite Wings star. She predicts Zetterberg will be the new team captain. “I would be very surprised if he wasn’t. He’s got the personality, the looks, the charm … and everything else! You could probably ask anyone in line here.”
She said she’s worried about a possible hockey lockout.
“I think that the players would like to not have a lockout, and the fans definitely don’t want a lockout,” she said. “Oh yeah, I want (the season) to start on September 26th just like it’s supposed to.”
