Mike Valenti's Wednesday Watchers: Does Florida State Count?

It's that time again -- time for Mike Valenti's weekly Wednesday Watchers segment. Valenti started off this week with a simple "yes or no" question, asking co-host Terry Foster about his bonus pick from last week, which was Savannah State getting 70.5 points from Florida State. That game ended early due to weather and Florida State won 55-0. So does Valenti get a win or does he get nothing?

"You get shut out," Foster said.

Last week, Valenti was 2-3, winning on Air Force and Georgia covering. The losses were Oklahoma State, Wisconsin and Nebraska.

Valenti's first game this week is USC - and he's betting 7.5 on the farm to take on Stanford. "USC didn't look great, Stanford hasn't looked great." Valenti said, adding "This is USC's opportunity to put up a number." "USC lays the wood to Stanford and I'm gonna lay the 7.5."

The second game of the week is Florida getting 3 points as they travel to the Rocky Top to take on Tennessee. Valenti's take is, "Florida showed me a lot last week, I'll take the Gators and the points."

The third game, as Valenti said is, "Called the skim milk game because no one will see it. BYU -4 as they travel to take on Utah. This is a bad spot for Utah, BYU is basically the last buster left. You're getting a value here, I'll take BYU laying the points."

The fourth game is called the "barf bag special." Valenti said the team that is the underdog is a lifeless corpse." Mike says that team is Pitt. You would think that Pitt eventually has to win a game right? Well, Valenti doesn't think that way and takes Virgina Tech minus ten.

The fifth and final game is based on the over/under. It's the Michigan State vs. Notre Dame Game. Valenti believes the 42 is a little higher than you would expect. Valenti thinks that Notre Dame will get to 17 and MSU will be in the upper 20s, so Mike thinks the over is the bet.
