Lolo Jones And Ndamukong Suh: Could It Be?

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) First, it was Justin Verlander and Kate Upton -- and now, there's another rumored Detroit sports superstar match-up: Lolo Jones and Ndamukong Suh.

Could it be? Apparently, it could.

The Twittersphere is abuzz today with news that Jones attended Sunday's Lions game in Detroit as a guest of Suh. The website mediatakeout.com quotes a source who says the two are "serious" (You're welcome to take that with a grain of salt.)

But it's the kind of story that we hope is true, for the same reason we rooted for Uplander -- it gives Detroit a little much-deserved star wattage.

What's not a rumor: Olympic hurdler Jones makes no bones about the face she's a virgin. On an episode of HBO's "Real Sports" she told host Mary Carillo about her virginity pledge, saying: "It's just something, a gift I want to give to my husband ... But please understand, this journey has been hard. It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college.

"I've been tempted. I've had guys tell me 'If you have sex, it will help you run faster.' I was like 'I do want this gold medal, but not yet. I do want to be married.'"

As for the Lions, Jones, an active Twitter user, alluded to the fact she was in Detroit in her Twitter feed Sunday. Read the Tweet below.
