Client Wins From September 17

GM picks RTT for CGI: General Motors has selected three-dimensional visualization company RTT as its global computer generated imaging vendor. As worldwide CGI partner RTT will be responsible, effective immediately, for the creative development and production of digital assets across all divisions of General Motors including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Holden, Opel and Vauxhall. The five-year contract amounts to one of the largest awards in the 3D visualization industry and includes the expansion of services as a strategic and creative partner in the realm of digital assets for GM's full brand portfolio. An extensive review of the market validated that RTT continually demonstrates thought leadership in the planning, creation, deployment and subsequent leveraging of digital assets across all media. RTT is based in Munich, Germany with an office in Royal Oak. "We are thrilled to play our part in supporting GM's visionary marketing strategy to be deployed efficiently around the world. GM's willingness to continually evolve, challenge and innovate in this area makes them an ideal RTT client, we love it!" said Peter Stevenson, CEO RTT USA Inc. As a long-term partner RTT already supplies the carmaker with virtual garage models and content for every trim level and option of the American and European lines. Within this collaboration hundreds-of-thousands of digital assets have been created and deployed to support GM marketing online, in print and within immersive solutions, all of which will be further extended under the new global agreement. RTT will also continue to support GM marketing during shows like the North American International Auto Show, through the development of interactive, realtime solutions. More at www.rtt.ag.
