Automation Alley Welcomes 20 New Members in September

TROY -- Automation Alley, Michigan's largest technology business association, announced that 20 new members joined the organization during September.

"Each new member brings added energy and a fresh perspective to our organization as we continue to push toward a more prosperous future for Southeast Michigan," said Automation Alley executive director Ken Rogers. "Automation Alley is a community for businesses, educators, innovators and leaders, each ready to benefit the other, get involved and promote our region's technology leadership. We welcome these 20 new members, and I'm confident our combined efforts will produce lasting results for the region."

Additionally, during September, Automation Alley's Web site, www.automationalley.com, welcomed 26,657 visits and 44,115 page views. The top five most-viewed pages were Member Directory, Home, Annual Awards Gala, Event Calendar, and Recent News and Press Releases. Outside the United States, the website was most often viewed by individuals and organizations in Canada, India, Belarus, the United Kingdom and Germany, while regionally, the city of Troy led with 4,676 visits.

Since its founding in 1999, Automation Alley has expanded to include nearly 1,000 businesses, educational institutions and government entities from the City of Detroit and the surrounding eight-county region. Automation Alley promotes regional prosperity through entrepreneurial and exporting assistance, workforce development and technology acceleration.
