Gibbs Sports Amphibians To Launch of First High-Speed Amphibian
AUBURN HILLS -- Gibbs Sports Amphibians Inc. has scheduled a lunch hour press conference Monday to launch its high-speed amphibian vehicle, which it says is the world's first available for consumer purchase.
The event will take place at the Detroit Athletic Club and feature Alan Gibbs, founder of Gibbs Technologies and Neil Jenkins, the company's chairman.
The Gibbs company is working on both a combination car and boat, and a combination four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle and Jet Ski-type vehicle.
