Attend This Tech Job Fair, Get Free Haircut

FARMINGTON HILLS -- Daifuku Webb Holding Co. and its subsidiary Jervis B. Webb Co., part of the largest materials handling company in the world, say they're in desperate need of engineers and project managers.

How desperate? Well, just for showing up at their Career Fair next Thursday, Nov. 8, you get a free haircut and a free chair massage.

The event runs from 3 to 8 p.m. to fill what the company says are "dozens" of engineering and project management positions. It's being held at the company's headquarters at 34375 W. 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills. Positions open include controls engineers, application engineers, structural engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, project managers and simulation analysts, Previous work experience is preferred.

Daifuku Webb says it offers competitive pay and extensive benefits including an onsite barbershop, chair massages, dry cleaning pickup and drop-off, 401(k) with company match, and flexible work schedules.

Daifuku Webb has nearly 1,000 employees and more than 200 engineers globally. The company says it has a low employee turnover, and the average tenure with the company is more than 15 years. Candidates are asked to bring their resumes to the career fair.
