Local Business Looks To Send Holiday Greetings To 1,000 American Troops In War

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - A Farmington Hills-based financial adviser and his colleagues are planning to send 1,000" Thank You", "Christmas", and "Hanukah" cards to 1,000 American troops overseas.

This year, Allen Olender is adding something new to his initiative: "Hero Packs" which are backpacks filled with mementos and items designed to help connect military kids with their deployed parent.

The holiday cards will be available for the public to sign through this Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo Advisors' offices across Metro Detroit.

Here's a list of three locations in the Birmingham, Troy and Farmington Hills area.
