BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. (WWJ) – If a full day of cooking isn’t your idea of holiday fun, you’re not alone.
Many of the folks lined up outside of the Honeybaked Ham store on Southfield Road and 13 Mile decided years ago to let the pros do the cooking. Since 8 a.m., the customers have kept the line long trailing out of the store and down along the side of the building.

“We’re selling a lot of bonus ham and turkey breast combos right now,” Merkel told WWJ’s Pat Sweeting. “We get our side dishes. We have our sweet potato soup filet, which is a big popular seller (and) garlic mashed potatoes. We do have a whole turkey dinner. Right now, it’s $59.99. You get the whole turkey, three side dishes and a gravy. (It) serves about 12.”

“I’m getting a half of ham and a roasted turkey breast,” Fontaine said. “My wife has it all printed out. There will be no mistakes and I will get the discounts … it’s just coupons off that Honeybaked Ham is offering. These are online.”
Good thing too, since Fontaine said his family will have 14 people dining with them this Thanksgiving.
